- I am using Trumpet Winsock with ODI drivers on Novell LAN. When I start
- windows and TCPman, all windows applications works OK. (Mosaic, hgopher,
- cello, TrumpetNews reader...). But I found 2 problems (maybe it is same one):
-
- 1. if I run DOS application (from Windows, i.e. POPmail) and THEN I try to use
- ie Mosaic, it just hangs. I need to shut down and restart TCPman and then it
- will start to work again.
-
- 2. If I don't use DOS apps, but I 'll leave windows on for longer time (ie
- 30-40 minutes) and then run Mosaic, it hangs again.(there is no message
- usually, but sometimes ARP timeout). I need then close and restart tcpman
- again to make it work.
-
- Any idea what cause this?
- I am using smc8000 ODI driver (but same is on 3c509), NetWare 3.11, Winsock
- 1.0A, Mosaic 0.7 beta. hgopher 2.3a.
